This is the machine on its own (Rupes code LHR15V/STD), the choice when you already own pads and polishes. Rupes covers it with a 5 year warranty when the polisher is registered after purchase.

Rupes has fitted POLYSYNTHEC composite gears, which are lighter than metal gears and need less lubrication. Rupes says vibration is lower and noise is down 47% against its earlier models, so the machine is easier to hold steady over a long session. The centre of gravity sits 13mm lower for more stability and control, and the new PrecisionPro backing pad has a protective rubber edge for polishing near edges and delicate bodywork.

In the box

Rupes BigFoot LHR15 Mark V polisher

The 125mm (5 inch) backing pad Rupes supplies with it

9m electrical cord

Technical data

Backing pad: 125mm (5 inch)

Orbit: 15mm

Power: 500W

Speed: 3000 to 5200 RPM, with speed control

Weight: 2.35kg

Backing pad thread: M8

Electrical cord: 9m

Want pads, compounds and cloths in the same box?
