Carpet & Fabric Brushes

A carpet or fabric brush works cleaner into carpet, mats and seat fabric and loosens the ground-in dirt a vacuum leaves behind. There are four hand brushes here, from Mammoth, Mothers, ValetPro and CarPro.

How to choose

• Floor carpet and mats: the Mammoth Deep Clean Carpet Brush has short, dense nylon bristles that get into the pile and break up stains.
• Carpet and seats: the Mothers Carpet & Upholstery Brush has stiff bristles and a non-slip grip for both.
• Tight spots: the ValetPro Upholstery Brush has a thin head and long bristles that reach round the pedals and between the seats and doors.
• Part-leather seats: the CarPro Leather and Fabric Brush is made for both materials.

Good to know

• Vacuum first, brush in a cleaner from Carpet & Fabric Cleaners, then lift the dirty residue with a damp microfibre or a wet and dry vacuum.
• Headlining is delicate: use a soft brush from Leather Brushes and keep it barely damp, as soaking it can loosen the glue.
• For a whole floor or boot, a drill brush from Carpet, Fabric & Drill Brushes is quicker.
