The BLO AIR-GT, AIR-RS and AIR-S

BLO Air-GT car dryer with its coiled hose and the BLO Air-S hand held car dryer on a black display plinth

AIR-GT. BLO's most powerful dryer uses twin motors for 8HP and pushes out over 64,000 FPM at peak on the UK model. The air heats to up to 30 degrees above the air around it for faster drying, and a fully variable dial turns the power down for small or delicate areas. It comes with an 8m hose, a 5m power cable, round and flat silicone nozzles and swivelling wheels that lock, so you can pull it around the garage and park it. BLO says it is more powerful and slightly heavier than the AIR-RS.

AIR-RS. A compact twin motor dryer that sits between the hand held unit and the big studio dryer. It has variable air speed, a long reinforced hose and a soft touch nozzle tip, and dries paintwork, wheels, trims and vents on cars, motorcycles and vans.

AIR-S Hand Held. BLO's super compact dryer, made for motorcycles and bikes and for chasing water out of every vent, grille and mirror on a car. It has two air speeds, warm filtered air, a 5m cord and a choice of three nozzles.

About BLO

BLO makes car dryers that blow the water off with warm, filtered air, so a freshly washed, polished or coated car dries without a towel touching the paint. The air also drives water out of the places a towel cannot reach: mirrors, grilles, badges, trim gaps, vents and wheels. BLO's range runs from the hand held AIR-S to the twin motor AIR-RS and the AIR-GT on its swivelling wheels, and its UK models come with a UK plug.

At The Drivers HQ we stock all three BLO dryers online with UK delivery and in our Ilkeston shop: the AIR-GT, the AIR-RS and the AIR-S Hand Held. See them with other blowers in car dryers and blowers.

Drying a car with a BLO

Start at the top. After the final rinse, work from the roof down, pushing the water ahead of the air and off the lower panels. Then go back to the mirrors, badges, grilles, light surrounds and trim gaps, where trapped water would otherwise run out later and leave streaks.

Wheels and arches. Dry wheels, wheel nuts and calipers with the air rather than a towel that might pick up brake dust grit.

Nozzle and power. The soft rubber nozzle tips take the worry out of getting a little too close to the finish. Turn the power down on the AIR-GT and AIR-RS for delicate trims, small badges and loose emblems.

Why touchless. Every towel pass is a chance to drag grit across the paint. Blowing the car dry cuts the risk of swirl marks and helps a coating or wax finish stay as you left it. More drying tools in drying towels.
