Spare batteries and chargers for cordless polishers. We carry ShineMate's 18V and 10.8V lithium-ion battery packs and the matching dual-channel rapid chargers, so you can add a second battery, replace a worn one or build a cordless kit around a machine-only polisher.

How to choose

• Match the voltage: the 18V packs (B1850A 5.0Ah and B1825A 2.5Ah) fit ShineMate 18V cordless polishers such as the EB251 rotary and the EB350 and EB351 orbitals, and charge in the BC182. The 10.8V B1225A pack charges in the BC122.
• Choose the capacity: the 5.0Ah B1850A (0.7kg) holds twice the charge of a 2.5Ah pack, while the 2.5Ah packs are the lighter ones (0.4kg for the 18V B1825A, 0.18kg for the 10.8V B1225A).
• Both chargers have two bays. The BC182 charges two 18V batteries one after the other with no need to swap them over, at up to 6.5A (160W). The BC122 charges two 10.8V batteries at the same time at 3.0A (80W). Both run on 100 to 240V mains.

Good to know

• ShineMate's battery system protects the pack against overload, overheating and over-discharge, and ShineMate rates its packs to keep 80% of their capacity after 500 full charge cycles.
• Royal Mail carries lithium-ion batteries only with the tool they power, so we post a spare battery together with a ShineMate machine in the same order, or you can collect it free from our Ilkeston store.

Which battery fits a ShineMate cordless polisher?

ShineMate's 18V polishers, including the EB251, EB350 and EB351, take the 18V B1850A or B1825A packs and charge them in the BC182. ShineMate's 10.8V machines take the 10.8V B1225A, which charges in the BC122. ShineMate sells these as two separate cordless systems, 18V and 10.8V, so match the voltage first.
