Car Fabric Protectants

Fabric protectants leave a repellent layer on cloth seats, carpets and fabric soft tops, so drinks, mud and rain bead up instead of soaking in. The range covers Dodo Juice Fabricadabra, a nano fabric and soft top sealant, and NowRevive Fabric Sealant, plus coatings such as Autobead Fabric Coating.

How to choose

• Soft top or cabin: Dodo Juice Fabricadabra is named for soft tops. For any other product, check the product page lists soft tops before using it on a roof.
• Spray or coating: a spray is quick to apply and easy to top up when water stops beading. Coatings such as Autobead Fabric Coating, and the rest of Fabric Coatings, need more prep and a cure time but are meant to last longer.

Good to know

• Protect clean, dry fabric only, or you seal the dirt in: use a cleaner from Carpet & Fabric Cleaners first and let it dry fully.
• On a soft top, mask off paint and glass, wipe off overspray before it dries, and pick a dry day so rain cannot reach it before it cures.
