About the range
Interior Cleaning & Finishing
This is the kit for cleaning the whole interior: cleaners for the dash, door cards, console and trim, for seats, carpets and leather, the brushes, pads, vacuums and extractors that work them in and lift the dirt out, and dressings to put the finish back. The most popular are the Stjarnagloss Inni and CarPro Inside cleaners, CarPro Inner Quick Detailer and Infinity Wax Finale Interior Dressing.
How to choose
- Interior Cleaners: lift grime from plastics and vinyl and, depending on the product, fabric and leather too. Dashboard & Hard Surface Cleaners are made just for the dash, console and door plastics.
- Interior APCs: all-purpose cleaners you dilute, strong for a neglected interior and weaker for routine cleans.
- Carpet & Fabric Cleaners, Fabric Shampoos, Spot & Stain Removers, Leather Cleaners and Alcantara Cleaners: for seats, carpets, mats and leather.
- Interior Detailing Brushes, Leather Brushes, Carpet & Fabric Brushes, Scrub Pads & Cleaning Blocks and Pet Hair Removal work the cleaner in; Vacuums & Hoovers and Extractors & Steam Cleaners take the dirt back out.
- Interior Quick Detailers: a light wipe for dust and fingerprints between proper cleans.
- Interior Dressings: bring colour and an even finish back to faded plastics.
Good to know
- Spray onto the cloth, not the surface, to keep product off the windscreen, screens and switchgear.
- Clean before you dress: a dressing over dirt seals it in and goes patchy.
- Keep dressings off the pedals, steering wheel and gear knob: a slippery finish there is dangerous.
What do professional detailers use on interiors?
A vacuum first, then a diluted interior APC or a dedicated cleaner worked in with soft brushes, microfibre cloths to wipe the loosened dirt away and an extractor for seats and carpets. A dressing or protectant goes on last, once every surface is clean and dry.
