About the range

Empty Detailing Bottles

An empty bottle lets you dilute a concentrate once and keep it ready to spray, or decant a ready-to-use product from a 5 litre refill. The range covers CarPro Dilute bottles in 500ml and 1 litre, IK trigger sprayers including 360 models, Maxshine HD chemical-resistant bottles and a long stem funnel.

How to choose

  • Dilution or plain: the CarPro Dilute bottles have ratios marked on the side, so concentrate goes to one line and water to the next. A plain bottle is enough for a ready-to-use product.
  • Standard or chemical resistant: standard bottles suit glass cleaner, quick detailer, waterless wash and interior products. Acid and alkaline wheel cleaners and degreasers need one from Chemical-Resistant Bottles, and solvent or petroleum-based products an IK HC.
  • Trigger: IK 360 triggers spray at any angle, even upside down, for lower sills and inside the arches.

Good to know

  • Label every bottle with product and dilution, and keep one bottle per product so residue cannot react with or spoil the next fill.

What spray bottle should I use for detailing chemicals?

A plain trigger bottle is fine for glass cleaner, quick detailer and interior products. Acid and alkaline wheel cleaners, degreasers and solvents need a chemical-resistant bottle and trigger, because they attack ordinary seals. A dilution bottle with ratios on the side makes mixing concentrates simple. Our dilution ratio guide explains mixing.
