Aerosol Air Fresheners

Aerosol fresheners are pressurised cans that put a strong scent into the cabin in a few short bursts, which makes them the quick fix before a trip or after a valet. Most of the range is Designer Fragrances Blast Cans, in perfume-style scents such as Azul, Blackcode, Fleur and Royal Oud Leather.

How to choose

• Scent: fresh (Azul, Savore), floral (Fleur, Parie, Rose Vanille), dark and woody (Blackcode, Royal Oud Leather) or fruity and sweet (Cherry, Vintage).
• A can gives an instant hit of scent that fades over the following hours. For a scent that stays, pair it with a hanging or vent freshener.
• A car is a small space: start with one or two short bursts and add more only if you need it.

Good to know

• Aim at the carpets and footwells, not the dashboard, screens or leather: overspray leaves an oily film on glass and screens.
• Spray with the doors open and let the car air before you drive. The cans are highly flammable, so do not leave one on the dashboard in the sun.
• For smoke, pet or damp smells, clean the source and use one of the Odour & Smoke Eliminators first.
