Yes. Most UK orders go by Royal Mail Tracked 24: £3.95 up to 2kg and £6.50 above, and free on orders of £100 or more. The delivery options and charges for your basket are shown at checkout before you pay, and Delivery Information lists the current services.

Orders placed by 3pm on a working day are usually posted the same day with Royal Mail Tracked 24, which aims to deliver the next working day after posting. Some remote postcodes can take longer. We email your tracking link as soon as the parcel leaves us, and Track Your Order shows where it is.

Yes. Click & Collect is free for eligible orders, and most orders with Ilkeston stock are ready within 5 minutes during opening times. Please wait for the collection-ready confirmation before you travel. See Click & Collect.

Yes. If you change your mind about an online order, contact us within 14 days of receiving it. The item must be unused, unopened and in its original packaging, and the return postage is yours unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect. Opened or used liquids and chemicals cannot be returned unless faulty. The Refund and Returns Policy has the full details.

Start with what a safe wash and dry needs: a wash bucket with a grit guard, a car shampoo, a wash mitt and a microfibre drying towel, then separate wheel tools, a pre-wash and a few cloths. Get as much dirt off as you can before anything touches the paint: clean the wheels first with their own tools, then pre-wash with a snow foam and rinse. Wash cool panels with a clean mitt and plenty of shampoo, press lightly and dry with a clean towel. Our guide to washing your car safely explains each stage.

If your paint is protected by wax, a sealant, a ceramic coating, paint protection film or a wrap, pick a snow foam that keeps that protection intact for routine washing, such as a pH-neutral foam. An alkaline foam is stronger on heavy winter grime, but keep it off sealed or waxed paintwork. Dilute it as the label says and do not let it dry on the car. Compare them in our snow foam guide.

Clean the wheels one at a time while they are cool, using a cleaner that is safe on that finish and a soft, clean brush: rinse, spray, agitate, rinse again, then protect the wheel. An acid wheel cleaner is for finishes you have checked it suits, not your everyday choice, and wheel tools should never touch the paint. Read how to clean alloy wheels.

A compound cuts harder to remove heavier defects and can leave a haze that needs refining, while a finishing polish removes less paint and brings back clarity on light marks. Start with the gentlest pad and polish that makes a useful improvement on a test section, so you keep as much clear coat as possible. See compound vs polish.

It depends how much time you want to spend on it. A spray sealant is quick and practical on a daily driver, wax suits people who enjoy applying it and topping it up, and a ceramic coating needs careful preparation and time to cure. Wheels first, then the pre-wash, contact wash and any decontamination, then dry the car, correct the paint if it needs it and protect it last. Find and remove the source first, whether it is a spill, damp, smoke or a pet, then clean the fabric that has soaked it up and let the car dry completely. For a quick clear, put the air conditioning on, change the air from recirculation to fresh air and direct the demister onto the windscreen. To keep it from coming back, reduce the moisture inside from wet coats and mats, and clean the inside of the windows often with a glass cleaner and a cloth kept only for glass.
