How to choose

• Carpet or seats: the Maxshine carpet brushes are made for floor carpet, mats and boot liners. Seat fabric, door cards and leather need a soft brush, such as the Maxshine leather and fabric set or the CarPro Leather and Fabric Brush.
• Size: a 5 inch brush covers the floor and boot quickly, while the 2 inch reaches footwell corners, seat seams and around the seat runners.

Good to know

• Run the drill slowly and let the bristles do the work. High speed throws cleaner around the cabin and can fluff up fabric.
• Keep the brush flat, so the plastic backing never touches trim or leather.
• Vacuum first, work in a cleaner from Carpet & Fabric Cleaners, then lift the residue with a microfibre or an extractor from Extractors & Steam Cleaners.

Can you use a drill brush on car seats?

Yes, on fabric seats, with a soft brush and the drill on a low speed. Work a fabric cleaner in a section at a time, keep the brush flat so the backing never touches the trim, then lift the dirt with a damp microfibre or an extractor. Our seat and carpet guide goes step by step.
