About the range

Stools, Trolleys & Kneeling Pads

Wheels, sills and lower panels mean a lot of time crouched on a hard or wet floor. This range takes the strain off your knees and back and keeps your kit within reach: kneeling pads from CarPro and Maxshine, the Maxshine Detailing Rolling Creeper and the DTLR wash bucket with trolley.

How to choose

  • Kneeling pad: the simplest option, light enough to carry to a mobile job, and it keeps your knees off grit and cold, wet ground.
  • Stool or creeper: sitting low puts you level with wheels, arches and sills and saves getting up and down all day. A creeper on castors rolls along the side of the car with you.
  • Cart or trolley: carries bottles, brushes, pads and a polisher around the car, so you are not walking back to the shelf for each product.

Good to know

Castors need a smooth garage or unit floor. On gravel or a rough driveway, a kneeling pad is the easier choice.

How do you protect your knees when detailing a car?

Kneel on a foam kneeling pad rather than the bare floor, and for long jobs on wheels and sills sit low on a stool or a rolling creeper instead of crouching. Keep your kit beside you on a trolley or in a bag so you are not getting up for each product. Our home detailing kit guide lists the rest.
