Detailing Bags & Tool Storage

How to choose

• Size: a small or medium bag, such as the Maxshine Small, carries a maintenance kit of shampoo, a few sprays and cloths. The large bags, such as the CarPro Big Detailing Bag, take a full kit with brushes and bigger bottles.
• Detailing bag or tool bag: detailing bags carry bottles and cloths, while the ShineMate heavy duty tool bags suit a polisher, pads and hand tools.

Good to know

• Carry used wheel brushes and dirty cloths in a separate bag or crate: grit left in the bag ends up on the paint next time.
• Frost and heat can make products separate, so a packed bag should not live in a hot boot or a freezing garage.

What should be in a car detailing bag?

For a maintenance wash away from home: a shampoo or waterless wash, a quick detailer, glass and interior cleaners, a few clean microfibre cloths and a drying towel, plus a wheel brush kept in its own pocket.
