About Equip2clean

Equip2clean is a family-run UK pressure washer and professional cleaning equipment business, based in Knowsley, Merseyside. Its story starts in the 1970s, when Eric Paxton, a Royal Navy veteran, began building and supplying pressure washers; Jonathan Paxton formally launched Equip2clean in 2006, and Kieran Paxton joined in 2020 as the business grew online. Its ranges include Kiam pressure washers, Aquaspray Venom window cleaning poles and Gorilla Power generators, and it was named Knowsley Small Business of the Year in 2024 and 2025.

At The Drivers HQ we sell Equip2clean hoses, hose reels, trigger guns and detailing start-up packages online with UK-wide delivery. Popular choices include the Karcher Click Bayonet K series hose, the heavy duty 5/16in hose and the Bronze Car Detailing Business Start-Up Package.

Equip2clean machines, chemicals and start-up packages

Pressure washer. The Gorilla Power GP4 is a compact electric washer giving up to 140 bar and 7 litres a minute from an 1800W motor, with an auto stop pump, an integrated hose reel, a 5m hose and standard M22 fittings.

Detailing start-up packages. Three ready-made setups help a new mobile valeting or detailing business get going. Bronze is the entry-level kit for exterior washing, interior extraction and finishing. Silver adds the core machines for pressure washing, extraction, steam cleaning and spot-free rinsing. Gold adds portable power from a Gorilla Power 3800W inverter generator, more DI water capacity, 25L bulk chemicals and pro accessories, with a choice of the Kiam DTLR 2 Pro (160 bar, 10 litres a minute) or DTLR 2 Lite (150 bar, 8.45 litres a minute); see more from DTLR by Kiam.

Chemicals. P10 Traffic Film Remover is a 25L non-caustic TFR for use through a pressure washer. For carpets and upholstery there is a low foaming spotting solution in 5L or a 4 x 5L pack for hot or cold extraction machines, and a non-caustic detergent powder in 5kg and 10kg that Equip2clean lists for Kiam Aquarius, Numatic, Kärcher, Prochem and Rug Doctor machines.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is behind Equip2clean?

A family business in Knowsley, Merseyside. Eric Paxton began building pressure washers in the 1970s, and Jonathan Paxton formally launched Equip2clean in 2006.

What is the difference between 1/4in and 5/16in pressure washer hose?

The 5/16in hoses are the heavier duty option: Equip2clean rates them to 250 bar, against 220 bar for its 1/4in hoses.

Will the Equip2clean 5/16in M22 hose fit my machine?

Its M22 couplings have a 14mm internal spigot, so they will not seal on M22 threads that have a 15mm spigot. Check your machine and gun before you order.

What is in an Equip2clean start-up package?

Bronze covers exterior washing, interior extraction and finishing; Silver adds steam cleaning and spot-free rinsing; Gold adds a Gorilla Power generator, more DI capacity and bulk chemicals, with a Kiam DTLR 2 pressure washer.

What pressure does the Gorilla Power GP4 give?

Up to 140 bar at 7 litres a minute from an 1800W motor, with an auto stop pump and an integrated hose reel.

Where can I buy Equip2clean in the UK?

The Drivers HQ sells Equip2clean hoses, hose reels, trigger guns, chemicals and start-up packages online with UK-wide delivery.
