Gift Cards

The digital gift card is sent by email with its code, so there is no delivery charge and it can arrive on a date you choose. The physical gift card is a plastic card that we post by Royal Mail Tracked 24, and its delivery is worked out at checkout like any order.

Both come in values from £30 to £1,000 and can be spent online or in our Ilkeston store.

Yes. Choose Send as a gift and add their email address. You can also add their name, a message of up to 200 characters and a send date up to 90 days ahead.

The card is emailed to them on that date, or as soon as you order if you leave the date empty.

Both gift cards are valid for 18 months: the digital card from purchase, and the physical card from its latest load, as its printed terms say.

No. Gift cards are on our list of items that cannot be returned unless faulty. The physical card's terms also say it cannot be exchanged for cash. See our Refund and Returns Policy.

No. Buying a gift card does not earn HQ Rewards points. When a gift card is used on eligible products, that order may earn points under the current programme rules.

No. The Trade Membership discount applies to every product except sale items and gift cards.
