We are a car care store, detailing product specialist and automotive lifestyle brand based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Everything we do is built around helping car people care for, protect and enjoy their cars.
Our Story
The Drivers HQ is a car care and detailing retailer based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, owned and run by Simon and Andrew.
The business grew from a shared interest in looking after cars properly. Today it is a walk-in store, an online shop delivering across the UK and part of a wider automotive group that includes the Detailing & Training Centre and the Sunday Drivers Club. The Drivers HQ is also the exclusive UK reseller of Autobead.
Responsibilities are clearly divided. Simon leads stock, products and customer support. Andrew leads IT, the website and the systems behind it. The aim throughout is the same: specialist products, accurate advice and a service customers can rely on, from safe washing and interior care to paint correction and protection.

Owners, The Drivers HQ
Our Owners
The Drivers HQ is led by its two owners, who divide responsibility for the business between products and customer service on one side and technology on the other.
Simon oversees the product side of the business: selecting the brands and ranges we carry, managing stock across the Ilkeston store and the online shop, and leading customer support, from product advice before purchase to help with orders afterwards.
Andrew oversees technology at The Drivers HQ: the website and online shop, the systems that connect products, stock and orders, and customer services such as HQ Rewards and trade accounts. The focus is a fast, accurate shop where stock levels and product information can be relied on.
