Leather Brushes

A leather brush works cleaner into the grain and stitching of seats, steering wheels and gear knobs, lifting dirt that a cloth only smears around. How to choose

• Bristle: horsehair, as on the Tenzi, is soft and flexes into the grain; synthetic bristle keeps its shape and dries quicker between uses.
• Leather or mixed seats: the CarPro brush is made for leather and fabric, handy where seats have leather bolsters and cloth centres.

Good to know

• Brush a cleaner from Leather Cleaners into a lather one panel at a time, with light pressure, then wipe it off with a microfibre before it dries. Follow with a conditioner or protector.
• On worn or cracked bolsters, let the bristles do the work: scrubbing hard can lift the colour coat.
