Polishing Microfibres

Polishing microfibres lift compound and polish residue off the paint after each machine pass, and buff off panel wipe, wax and sealant. The range is the Mammoth Blue Ewe, an ultra soft 40x40cm polishing towel, and two Purestar Speed Polish packs: orange towels in a 7 pack and Light towels in a 9 pack.

How to choose

• Pile: a deep, soft pile is kindest for the final buff on finished paint; a shorter, lighter towel grabs heavy compound residue and folds flat under your hand.
• Single towel or pack: a pack gives you a fresh towel for each stage, so residue from a cutting compound is not wiped back over a panel you have just refined.

Good to know

• Change towels as they load up: a towel full of compound residue smears rather than lifts, and can leave the panel hazy.
• Wash polishing towels apart from wash mitts and wheel cloths, and without fabric softener, which clogs the fibres. Our Microfibre Washes are made for this.
