Waterless Wash

A waterless wash cleans with a spray bottle and microfibre towels instead of a hose and buckets, which suits flats, underground parking, hosepipe bans and a car that is only dusty between proper washes. How to choose

• Ready to use or concentrate: a ready-mixed spray is simplest; a concentrate like Crankalicious Pineapple Express is diluted into your own bottle (Empty Detailing Bottles) and goes further.
• Clean or clean and shine: some leave gloss behind as well, such as the Sonax Wash And Shine.
• Towels: have plenty of plush Microfibre Cloths ready, one to lift the dirt and a second to buff dry.

Good to know

Use it on dust and light road film only. Mud, grit and winter salt will scratch however much product you use, so a dirty car needs a pre-wash and rinse first. Mist each panel well, wipe in straight lines with light pressure and turn the towel to a clean face often.
