Fresh and floral. Beach Days brings hints of neroli, musk and white florals, and Jungle Fever is a clean, light mix of hibiscus floral notes.

Fruity. Orange Juice pairs orange with sweet mandarin for bright, juicy citrus, and Pina Colada is the tropical one, made to remind you of a cold drink on the beach.

Sweet. Celebrate blends vanilla cake with sweet buttercream frosting, and Bubble Gum is a sweet, nostalgic fragrance.

Hanging it. Hang the tree from the mirror or a hook where it cannot block your view or rest on trim, and replace it when the scent fades.

About Little Trees

Little Trees is the original tree-shaped car air freshener. In 1952 a milk truck driver in northern New York complained to Julius Sämann about the smell of spilled milk, so he combined fragrances with a special blotter material and invented the first car air freshener. He shaped it as an abstract evergreen tree in honour of his years extracting aromatic oils in Canada's pine forests. Little Trees is still based in Watertown, New York, and the Tree fresheners are made in factories in Watertown and DeWitt, Iowa.

At The Drivers HQ we stock Little Trees online with UK delivery and in our Ilkeston shop, including Beach Days, Orange Juice and Pina Colada.

The story and the wider range

The story and the wider range

The first scents. The first Little Trees fragrances were Royal Pine, Spice and Bouquet. The range has since grown to include favourites such as Black Ice, New Car Scent, Vanillaroma and Caribbean Colada.

Quality. Julius Sämann insisted on rigorous testing and quality control for fragrance, strength and longevity, and Little Trees says it is committed to long-lasting, affordable products.

More formats. As well as the classic hanging Tree, Little Trees makes Vent Wraps, sprays and the Fiber Can. In parts of Europe the same tree goes by other names: Arbre Magique in the south west and Wunder-Baum in northern, central and eastern Europe.

Freshening up properly. A freshener works best in a clean cabin: vacuum first and deal with the source of any smell, then hang a new tree.
