Interior & Leather Brushes

Interior brushes lift dust out of vents, switchgear, stitching and seams, and leather brushes work cleaner into the grain of seats and steering wheels. The range covers Maxshine interior and horsehair brushes, Tenzi Precise brushes in three sizes, leather brushes from CarPro, Gyeon, Tenzi and Sam's Detailing, plus swabs and microfibre sticks.

How to choose

• Leather: a soft leather brush, such as the Tenzi horsehair, cleans the grain without scuffing the colour coat; the CarPro Leather and Fabric Brush also does cloth.
• Plastics and screens: gloss black trim and screens scratch easily, so dust them with your softest brush or the Maxshine mini duster; textured plastics and door pockets can take a firmer brush.
• Reach: the 15mm Tenzi fits vent slats and switch surrounds, the 29mm covers larger vents and trim seams, and swabs and microfibre sticks go deeper.

Good to know

• Work one area at a time and wipe off with a microfibre before the cleaner dries, or the dirt settles back into the grain. Pair with Leather Cleaners or Interior Cleaners.
• Keep these brushes for the interior: one used outside carries grit that marks soft trim.
