Expert Notes

Better Detailing Boar Hair Detailing Brushes are designed for controlled agitation in areas that are awkward to clean with a cloth, mitt or larger brush. The natural boar hair bristles help disturb dirt, dust and grime around vents, switches, badges, grilles, wheel nuts, engine bay plastics and exterior trim gaps. The three size options make the range more useful than a single brush, with the small brush suited to vents, switches and badges, the medium brush working well as a general-purpose detailing brush and the large brush better suited to wheels, grilles, engine bay plastics and larger exterior areas. These brushes should not be treated as paint-safe brushes. Avoid use on delicate surfaces such as paintwork, gloss black trim, piano black plastics, clear plastics, touchscreens, delicate PPF, matte finishes and soft interior materials. For professional results, keep dedicated brushes for interiors, wheels and engine bays so brake dust, grit and grease are not transferred between areas.
