Full Description

This Better Detailing nozzle set gives you four quick connect pressure washer tips with four spray angles: 0 degree red, 15 degree yellow, 25 degree green and 40 degree white. The tips are high pressure stainless steel and fit most brands and models of pressure washer wands.

Swapping a tip takes seconds, so you can match the spray to the job and clean hard-to-reach areas quickly and easily. As a rule, the wider the angle, the gentler the spray: the 40 degree white tip is the one for rinsing paintwork, while the narrow tips are for tough dirt on hard surfaces, never paint.

Expert Notes

One spray pattern cannot suit every job, from rinsing a car to shifting dirt off a driveway. A set of quick connect tips fixes that: the 40 degree white tip gives a wide, gentle fan for rinsing the car, the 25 degree green tip handles general cleaning, and the narrower 15 degree yellow and 0 degree red tips cut through stubborn dirt on hard surfaces.

These four are high pressure stainless steel and colour coded, so you can pick the right one at a glance, and they fit most brands and models of pressure washer wands that take quick connect tips.

Perfect For / Suitable Surfaces

  • Paintwork, with the 40 degree tip
  • Wheels and arches
  • Patios and driveways
  • Glass, with the 40 degree tip

Caution: Never point a pressure washer at people or animals, and keep the 0 degree red tip off paint, tyres and trim.

The Brand

Better Detailing

Better Detailing is a range of detailing brushes and pressure washer fittings that we sell at The Drivers HQ. It covers the parts that make a wash setup work: snow foam lance adapters for the main pressure washer makes, stubby trigger gun adapters, solid brass quick release fittings, a swivel connector, a quick release nozzle set and a stubby gun, alongside natural boar hair and synthetic detailing brushes for vents, badges, trim and wheels.

You can buy Better Detailing online with UK delivery or in our Ilkeston shop. Our customers' favourites are the Quick Release Nozzle Set, the Boar Hair Sash Brush, the Karcher stubby trigger gun adapter and the Karcher K2 to K7 snow foam lance adapter.

Better Detailing fittings and brushes

Snow foam lance adapters. Each adapter replaces the machine fitting on an aftermarket snow foam lance, so the lance fits your pressure washer. The Karcher K2 to K7 adapter has an engineering-grade polymer body with a precision-machined brass thread. The range also covers Karcher Pro HD and HDS, new type, Karcher Pro HD and HDS, old type, Nilfisk, Gerni, Kew, Alto, Stihl and Husqvarna, Bosch AQT short type and Portland Husky, Silverline, Hunter, Anlu, IPC and Skil 0761 and Lavor, Parkside, Vax, Sterwins and Argos Qualcast.

Stubby guns and fittings. The High Pressure Stubby Trigger Gun has an M22 male inlet and a 1/4in quick release outlet. To fit a stubby gun to your machine there are adapters for Karcher, Nilfisk and Lavor, Lutian and Black & Decker. The solid brass M22 male to 3/8in female quick release adapter and 1/4in BSP female to 1/4in quick connect adapter convert threads to quick release, and the brass M22 14mm swivel connector turns a full 360 degrees between gun and hose so the hose stops twisting as you walk round the car. Check your thread first: it is made for M22 14mm fittings.

Nozzles and sprayers. The Quick Release Nozzle Set has four stainless steel tips: 0 degree red, 15 degree yellow, 25 degree green and 40 degree white. The wider the angle, the gentler the spray, so the 40 degree tip is the one for rinsing paintwork. The Trigger Spray Head fits 28/410 bottle necks and gives about 1.2ml per full pull.

Detailing brushes. The natural boar hair brushes come as the Sash Brush in small, medium and large, the Premium Boar Hair Brush in six sizes, the V2 Boar Hair Brush in five sizes with a chemical-resistant handle and hanging loop, and the Plastic Handle Boar Hair Brush. They are soft enough for vents, badges, gloss black trim and leather. The ultra-soft synthetic brushes come long and short, the Firm Synthetic Brush has firm bristles with soft flagged tips for panel gaps, engine bays, calipers and polish residue, and the Chemical Resistant Brush stands up to repeated use with strong wheel cleaners.

Shop the range by type: adapters and quick connects, snow foam lances, stubby trigger guns and detailing brushes.

Which snow foam lance adapter do I need?

Most aftermarket snow foam lances come with one machine fitting. If your pressure washer takes a different one, an adapter swaps it, so match the adapter to the brand of your machine:

If you are not sure which connection your machine has, check its manual or the gun outlet, or ask our team in the Ilkeston shop for help choosing a compatible adapter. For lances to go with the adapter, see our snow foam lances.
