Koch-Chemie Glas Star is a concentrated, alcohol-based glass cleaner for smooth, alcohol-resistant surfaces, aimed at detailers wanting a fast-drying, streak-free finish.

The concentrated, alcohol based glass cleaner for all smooth, alcohol-resistant surfaces on vehicles, buildings, etc. Effortlessly removes the most stubborn dirt including oil, grease, silicone, wax residues, light spray mist, insects and similar. Glas Star runs off quickly without streaks and its gloss and smoothness additive improve the wiping action of the cleaning cloth. The alcohol content means that cleaning cloths dry faster.

How To Use

Regular glass cleaning

  1. Make sure the glass is cool.
  2. Dilute Glas Star up to 1:3 with de-ionised water if required.
  3. Spray the cleaner onto a dedicated glass cloth.
  4. Wipe the glass evenly using straight overlapping passes.
  5. Turn the cloth regularly during use.
  6. Buff with a second dry glass cloth if needed.
  7. Inspect from different angles for remaining smears.

Heavy residue removal

  1. Use Glas Star neat where stronger cleaning is needed.
  2. Spray a small amount onto a clean glass towel.
  3. Work the affected area until the residue starts to lift.

Koch-Chemie began in Germany in 1968 when trained carpenter Hans Koch started developing his own polishing compounds after becoming dissatisfied with the vehicle care products available at the time. His interest in surface finishing became the foundation of the company, with the first Koch-Chemie products moving into serial production during the 1970s. The business has remained based in Unna, Germany since 1971 and has expanded from polishing into vehicle cleaning, preparation, car wash chemistry, workshop products and industrial cleaning.
