Koch-Chemie Ceramic Effect Shampoo is a care shampoo with a sealing effect for hand washing, aimed at owners of coated or sealed cars wanting to extend that protection.

Ceramic Effect Shampoo is the care shampoo with sealing effect for hand washing. It cleans and seals surfaces for a long time in just one step. The preservation technology consists of a new combination of cleaning and care formulation and therefore creates a smooth, haptically soft and highly hydrophobic surface with a very good deep gloss. The quick and easy-to-use shampoo is ideal for surfaces that have already been coated, e.g. with Ceramic Body or Spray Sealant, and can increase the service life of the respective coating.

Bucket wash application

  1. Dilute Ceramic Effect Shampoo at 1:200.
  2. Use 50ml of shampoo in 10L of water.
  3. Lather the shampoo briefly in the wash bucket.
  4. Wash the vehicle section by section using a suitable wash mitt or sponge.
  5. Work from cleaner upper panels to dirtier lower panels.
  6. Do not allow the shampoo to dry on the surface.
  7. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water.
  8. Dry the vehicle using a clean microfibre drying towel.

Maintenance wash routine

  1. Use a separate wheel cleaning process before washing paintwork.

Koch-Chemie began in Germany in 1968 when trained carpenter Hans Koch started developing his own polishing compounds after becoming dissatisfied with the vehicle care products available at the time. His interest in surface finishing became the foundation of the company, with the first Koch-Chemie products moving into serial production during the 1970s. The business has remained based in Unna, Germany since 1971 and has expanded from polishing into vehicle cleaning, preparation, car wash chemistry, workshop products and industrial cleaning.
