Full Description

Mothers CMX Ceramic Wash & Coat is a car shampoo that cleans and leaves an SiO2 nano-quartz layer behind, for a just-coated, liquid gloss. It combines penetrating surfactants and water-softening polymers with the hydrophobic properties of a ceramic coating.

The low-sudsing, lubricating formula loosens, surrounds and lifts dulling contamination and neutralises the minerals that cause water spots, which shortens drying time and helps protect the paint from wash scratches and swirls; it rinses clean without streaks or spots. It is pH neutral and environmentally friendly. Use it as a bead booster over an existing ceramic coating, sealant or wax, or as a stand-alone quick coat on an uncoated car.

How To Use

Washing

  1. Rinse the car to remove loose dirt.
  2. Add shampoo to a bucket of water at the dilution on the bottle.
  3. Wash from the roof down with a clean wash mitt, one panel at a time.
  4. Rinse the mitt in a second bucket of clean water between panels.
  5. Rinse the car thoroughly before it dries.

Drying

  1. Dry with a clean, plush drying towel.
  2. Pat or glide the towel gently, never scrub.
  3. Dry the glass last with a separate towel.
  4. Wash the mitt and towels after use.

Mothers metal polish, CMX ceramics and Power tools

Metal polish. Mag & Aluminium Polish is the product Mothers started with, for bare aluminium wheels and parts, brass, alloys and other bare metal; its polishing agent is alumina. Work it back and forth, then wipe it off while it is still wet. It is for polishable bare metal, not for coated or painted wheels.

Power tools for metal. The Power range turns a household drill into a polisher. The PowerBall 2 has an elongated ball for a larger polishing area, the PowerBall Mini comes with a 10in Quick Swap Bit extension for tight spots on wheels, diamond plate, light lenses and engine parts, and the PowerCone 360 has a spherical cone, a Quick Swap Bit and a built-in wheel guard. The NuLens Headlight Renewal Kit also runs on a drill, removing oxidation from plastic headlight lenses.

CMX ceramics. CMX Ceramic Spray Coating (710ml) is a spray-on, wipe-off SiO2 and TiO2 protection, on its own or to top up an existing coating.
