It is designed for heavily weathered PMMA plastic headlights where oxidation, yellowing, sanding marks and surface scratches need proper machine correction. This is not a quick wipe-on lens cleaner. It is a heavy cut polish used after sanding or on badly degraded lenses, usually with a rotary machine and either a Heavy Cut Pad or lambswool pad. Headlight Polish 1 removes the defects and sanding marks, then Headlight Polish 2 is used afterwards to refine the finish and restore maximum clarity. Heat control is important because plastic headlight lenses can distort or mark if worked too aggressively.
