ValetPRO's story starts with its founder, Greg Spink, who the brand says began working as a professional detailer in 1999. After many years in the trade he knew more than most about vehicle preparation and enhancement, and in 2005 he set about creating his own range of professional detailing products. ValetPRO Ltd was officially founded that year.

According to the brand's timeline, the business moved to a larger warehouse in Framfield, East Sussex in 2010, then to larger premises in Golden Cross, East Sussex in 2012. In 2018 it moved into a brand new, purpose built warehouse in Newhaven, and in 2020 it celebrated its 15 year business anniversary. Its products are now exported to over thirty countries.

ValetPRO says its range is still developed in line with Greg's early aspirations: products that are reliable, cost effective and easy to use. The company has an in-house research and development team, hands-on product development and a professional in-house detailer who helps customers get the most from its products, and it describes itself as a specialist in producing pH neutral formulations.

ValetPRO is a UK based company that specialises in manufacturing car cleaning and protection products. It began in 2005, when founder Greg Spink, after many years working as a detailer, set about creating his own range of professional detailing products. The brand says its range is still developed to be reliable, cost effective and easy to use, and it now covers car cleaning and protection solutions and accessories exported to over thirty countries. ValetPRO also describes itself as a specialist in producing pH neutral formulations.

The Drivers HQ stocks ValetPRO for washing, wheels, interiors and detailing tools. The wash side includes car shampoos such as Advanced Poseidon Car Wash and Ceramic Shampoo, snow foams including Advanced Neutral Snow Foam, and Bug Remover for insect splats. Bilberry Wheel Cleaner takes care of wheels, with Chemical Resistant Brushes in plastic and wooden handled versions for agitation. Inside, Advanced Interior Cleaner and carpet and fabric cleaners sit alongside interior detailing brushes, while Black to the Future dresses trim and tyres. Accessories include the Advanced Microfibre Wash Mitt, edgeless microfibre cloths and polishing and finishing pads.

ValetPRO pitches its products at car enthusiasts and professional detailers, and several lines are stocked in 500ml, 1L and 5L sizes to suit occasional washes or regular use. A typical routine starts with snow foam to loosen dirt before the contact wash, followed by a shampoo applied with a microfibre wash mitt. Wheels are cleaned with Bilberry Wheel Cleaner and a chemical resistant brush, and Black to the Future finishes trim and tyres. Owners of caravans and motorhomes can add Caravan Wash and Shine, a waterless cleaner with carnauba wax protection.

From Snow Foam to Trim Dressing

ValetPRO says it launched products that later became industry staples, including Citrus Pre-Wash and pH Neutral Snow Foam. When it first released pH Neutral Snow Foam, the brand notes, most snow foams on the market were alkaline cleaners. Its pH Neutral Snow Foam is designed for regular maintenance washes, producing a thick, clingy foam that loosens light dirt and traffic film before the contact wash, and it will not strip ceramic coatings, waxes or sealants.

On the wash side, Advanced Poseidon Car Wash deposits a thin, sacrificial high-gloss coating as you rinse, which the brand says helps extend the durability of an existing wax or paint sealant. Ceramic Shampoo is an SiO2-infused shampoo that ValetPRO says delivers up to 4 weeks of protection from one wash. Bug Remover is a ready-to-use, pH neutral spray for baked-on insect remains on windscreens, grilles, bumpers and paintwork.

For wheels and trim, Bilberry Wheel Cleaner is an acid-free, alkaline cleaner for painted and lacquered alloy wheels with a bilberry fragrance, and ValetPRO's chemical resistant brushes are made for agitating wheel cleaners. Black to the Future is a trim and tyre dressing designed to restore faded exterior plastics to a deep, glossy black. Inside the car, Advanced Interior Cleaner is a pH neutral, biodegradable cleaner for carpets, upholstery and hard surfaces.
