How To Use

Using it

  1. Clean and dry the panel, and finish all cutting and polishing before you begin.
  2. Centre the pad on a backing plate that suits your machine and a 5.5in pad.
  3. Apply a few small dots of glaze to the pad face.
  4. Spread the glaze over a small section at a low speed setting.
  5. Work in overlapping passes with light pressure until the coat is thin and even.
  6. Remove the residue as the glaze maker directs, using a clean microfibre towel.

Cleaning and storage

  1. Brush out the pad face between panels to clear dried glaze.
  2. After use, wash the pad in warm water with a dedicated pad cleaner.
  3. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out the water, never wring or twist the foam.
  4. Dry the pad face down, away from radiators and direct heat.
  5. Store it in a clean sealed bag, apart from pads used with compounds.

Top Tip: Keep one pad for each product type so glaze residue never mixes with polish or compound residue on the foam.
