The DAS-6 PRO Dual Action Polisher v2 builds on the popular DAS-6 and offers even better performance.

This new model features a number of upgrades over the previous generation. It contains a more powerful 900w motor which delivers much more low end power.

In addition, the DAS-6 PRO features a rubberised front grip handle and counterweight shield. The bearings and gearing have been refreshed for an even smoother action, making this amongst the smoothest, easiest to use dual action car polishers on the market. The brushes have also been made so they can be changed externally making servicing the machine much easier.

The new machine now comes with a 3" (75mm) backing plate for those tighter areas and a high quality foam cutting and finishing pad.

Rest assured that the equipment is fully equipped with a UK 240v power supply, a complete CE mark, and a 1-year manufacturer's warranty to give you peace of mind. Upgrades include a robust 6-meter cable and D-Handle. Moreover, a custom embroidered canvas carry case is included for convenient storage of the machine and its accessories when not in use.

The DAS-6 PRO has been fully re-engineered and is the most powerful Dual Action Polisher on the market. The results of this extra power are a machine that cuts almost as well as a rotary but with all the safety of a dual action. Unlike other machines at low speeds the extra torque is a real benefit for application of polish.

How To Use

Using it

  1. Fit a backing plate and pad suited to the panel and task.
  2. Select a speed on the variable 6 speed dial, 2,500 to 6,500rpm.
  3. Apply a small amount of polish, glaze, sealant or wax to the pad.
  4. Spread the product over the panel at a low speed before working it in.
  5. Increase speed gradually and keep the pad flat against the surface.
  6. Move the machine in overlapping passes and avoid dwelling in one spot.

Cleaning and storage

  1. Wipe residue from the pad and backing plate after use.
  2. Remove the pad to let it dry fully before reattaching.
  3. Wipe the machine body and cable clean of any product residue.
  4. Store the machine and accessories in the canvas carry case.
  5. Coil the cable loosely to avoid kinks.

Top Tip: Start on a lower speed setting to spread product evenly before increasing speed for correction work.

DAS-6 dual action polishers

DAS-6 V2. The DAS-6 V2 is the introductory machine: a 650W motor, a 9mm orbit and six speeds from 2,000 to 6,500rpm, about 1.75kg with a 5m cable. It comes with 125mm and 150mm backing plates, two 130mm foam pads, a D-handle and a carry case, and its counterweight is set for a 5in pad. Use it to polish paint and to apply glazes, sealants and waxes.

DAS-6 PRO V2. The DAS-6 PRO steps up to 900W for more low-end power, still with a 9mm orbit, at 2,500 to 6,500rpm and about 2.3kg, with a 6m cable and 125mm and 75mm plates. It adds a rubberised front grip, a counterweight shield, refreshed bearings and gearing, and carbon brushes you can change from outside; spares are the PRO replacement brushes.

DAS-6 PRO Plus. The PRO Plus is the long-throw machine: a 1,000W motor and a 15mm orbit, which DAS-6 sees as the optimum throw for covering more area and removing more swirls and scratches in less time.

DAS-6 Nano. The Nano is a cordless mini polisher for the finer details and the tight, hard-to-polish areas a full-size machine cannot reach. It takes 1.2in and 2in pads and comes with interchangeable heads for 3mm and 12mm dual action and a rotary head with an extension bar, plus two 2.5Ah batteries.

Nano pads. Replacement hook and loop pads cover every stage from cutting to finishing, in foam and microfibre: the 1in kit has 17 pads and the 2in kit has 8. They are the same pads supplied with the Nano and fit any nano machine made for 1in and 2in pads.

Which DAS-6. For a first machine, the V2. For more power on the same 9mm orbit, the PRO. For faster correction on big panels, the 15mm PRO Plus, and for small areas, add the Nano.
