Dual Action polishers are very popular with car enthusiasts and professionals a like as they are low risk but give much better results than polishing by hand. With a powerful 650w motor it is possible to removes scratches and swirl marks when used in conjunction with a machine polish. It is also a perfect for applying glazes, sealants and waxes. This machine unlike its rivals was built for use with 5" (125mm) pads in mind, so was counter-weighted at the factory with this in mind making it far smoother than many of it's rivals. Most dual actions are counter weighted for use with a 6" pad and plate, yet by far the most popular pad choice amongst detailers is 5" which really plays to this machines strengths. The DAS 6 v2 Dual Action car Polisher comes supplied with a UK 240v plug, is fully CE marked and has the peace of mind of a 1 year manufacturers warranty. Improvements include a heavy duty 5 meter cable and a D-Handle. We are also including a canvas carry case with every machine, perfect for storing the machine and accessories whilst not in use. Also icluded are two 5" (130mm) pads, one polishing & one finishing, so you'll have something to use right out of the bag. Before polishing

  1. Wash the vehicle thoroughly.
  2. Remove bonded contamination before machine polishing.
  3. Dry the paint completely.
  4. Inspect the paint under suitable lighting.
  5. Mask sensitive trims, badges, rubber and sharp edges.
  6. Choose a small test section before polishing the full vehicle.
  7. Select the correct pad and polish for the defect level.
  8. Make sure the panel is cool before polishing.

Machine setup

The DAS-6 PRO keeps the compact 9mm orbit but increases motor output to 900W, giving it greater power while retaining the smaller orbit format. The current PRO also accepts backing plates down to 3 inches, increasing its usefulness on tighter sections of bodywork.

For larger panels and faster coverage, the DAS-6 PRO Plus moves to a 15mm orbit and a revised 1000W motor. The longer throw allows the pad to work across a greater area with each orbit, making it better suited to correcting larger areas of paint efficiently.

DAS-6 also extends beyond conventional full-size machines with the Nano cordless polisher. Rather than simply shrinking a standard DA, the Nano uses interchangeable heads that allow it to operate with a 3mm dual action movement, 12mm dual action movement or as a rotary. It uses small 1.2-inch and 2-inch pads for areas such as pillars, bumpers, headlights, trim sections and other places where a conventional 5-inch machine is too large.

The Nano is supplied with two 12V 2.5Ah batteries, polishing pads, backing plates and rotary and DA attachments. Combined with the V2, PRO and PRO Plus, this gives DAS-6 a machine range covering small-area precision work, conventional 9mm dual action polishing and longer-throw 15mm correction rather than relying on a single machine format.
