Full Description

CarPro Reflect is a super-fine finishing polish developed to create the ultimate gloss before a CQUARTZ coating. It uses rapidly diminishing abrasives and sophisticated nano-particles, with a fast working time and zero defect masking, for a consistent mirror finish on hard and soft paints alike.

Reflect is body shop safe, with no fillers, silicones, waxes or polymers, so the gloss you see is real. CarPro US says it quickly removes holograms and light wash marring using rapid-diminishing P3000 aluminium oxide abrasives. Sizes: 250ml, 500ml and 1L.

Reflect is the last abrasive step before a coating. Because it has no fillers, the gloss it leaves is real and stays after the Eraser wipe, which is what a ceramic coating needs underneath it.

Pair it with a compound for heavier defects: CarPro US recommends finishing ClearCut with Reflect when the car is going to be coated with CQUARTZ.

CarPro US describes rapid-diminishing P3000 aluminium-oxide abrasives with nano-abrasives and a low-volume mineral oil lubricant, with no durable fillers, silicones, waxes, polymers or Teflon.

How To Use

Prime and spread

  1. Shake well and put 4 to 5 drops on a foam polishing pad.
  2. Spread the polish across the section on low speed in one pass.

Polish

  1. Increase the speed to around 4 to 5 (800 to 1000 RPM).
  2. Polish with light to medium pressure until the polish fully breaks down.
  3. Wipe off with a clean microfibre towel and inspect.

Top Tip: Wipe the panel with CarPro Eraser after polishing to see the true finish before coating.

The CarPro range: prepare, protect, maintain

CarPro organises its products around the order you work on a car, which makes it easy to build a kit that suits your car and the time you have.

Prepare. Clean and decontaminate first. Lift is a concentrated pre-wash snow foam, IronX dissolves iron fallout with an acid-free, pH-balanced formula and turns purple-red as it works, and TRIX removes iron and tar in one go. For paint correction, ClearCut takes out scratches as deep as P1000, Fixer cuts and finishes in a single step, and Reflect refines the finish before a coating. Eraser then removes polishing oils so the coating can bond.

Protect. CQ UK 3.0 is CarPro's consumer ceramic coating: 70% SiO2, applied from 3 to 40°C and rated for 18 to 24 months. There are dedicated coatings for film and plastic trim (CQUARTZ Skin), glass (GForce, built on CarPro's DQUARTZ nano-diamond technology) and leather (CQuartz Leather 2.0), plus quicker options such as HydrO2, a spray-on, rinse-off silica sealant rated for up to 6 months.

Maintain. Reset is the pH-neutral shampoo made for coated cars and dilutes 1:500. Hydro Foam washes and leaves a silica layer in one step, ECH2O is a waterless wash and quick detailer, and MFX restores the absorbency of your microfibre towels.

Where to start with CarPro

New to CarPro? Start with the products that make the biggest difference to a normal wash: Reset, Lift and a pair of Dilute bottles, which have printed ratios from 1:1 to 1:30 so every concentrate is mixed correctly. WheelX is the CarPro product our customers buy most often: a ready-to-use wheel cleaner that is safe on coated, chrome and powder-coated wheels.

Ready to protect your paint? Work in this order:

  • Wash with Lift and Reset, then remove iron fallout with IronX.
  • Polish if the paint needs it, from ClearCut for deeper marks to Reflect for a final finish.
  • Wipe each panel with Eraser and apply CQ UK 3.0 one panel at a time.
  • Keep the coating at its best with Reset and a top-up of HydrO2 or Hydro Foam every few months.

For tyres and trim, DarkSide and Perl are the favourites: Perl dilutes up to 5:1, from a rich finish on tyres to a satin look on plastics, and ReTyre cleans tyres and rubber before you dress them.
