Full Description

CarPro Fixer is a one-step nano polish that cuts and finishes in a single stage. A blend of nanotechnology ingredients and diminishing abrasive powders lets it remove P1500 wet-sanding marks and still finish down on most paints, from soft clear coats to hard, scratch-resistant ceramic finishes.

Fixer is body shop safe, with no silicone, waxes, polymers or fillers to hide marks, so what you see after the wipe is real correction. Use it on a dual action or rotary polisher with wool, microfibre or foam pads, or by hand in tight areas. Sizes: 250ml and 500ml.

How To Use

Prepare

  1. Wash and decontaminate the paint first.
  2. Put 4 to 5 drops of Fixer on the polishing pad.
  3. Spread it on low speed across one section.

Polish

  1. Once the pad and paint are lubricated, raise the speed to around 4 to 5 on a DA, or 600 to 1200 RPM on a rotary.
  2. Polish with light to medium pressure until the abrasives fully break down.
  3. Wipe off the residue with a clean microfibre towel and inspect the finish.
  4. Clean the pad after each section and add 2 more drops for the next.

Top Tip: Fixer works best at lower speeds: around 4 to 5 on a dual action, or 600 to 1200 RPM on a rotary.

CarPro is the car care brand behind CQUARTZ, one of the ceramic coatings that brought nano-protection from professional detailing studios to everyday enthusiasts. The CarPro range: prepare, protect, maintain

CarPro organises its products around the order you work on a car, which makes it easy to build a kit that suits your car and the time you have.

Prepare. Clean and decontaminate first. Lift is a concentrated pre-wash snow foam, IronX dissolves iron fallout with an acid-free, pH-balanced formula and turns purple-red as it works, and TRIX removes iron and tar in one go. For paint correction, ClearCut takes out scratches as deep as P1000, Fixer cuts and finishes in a single step, and Reflect refines the finish before a coating. Eraser then removes polishing oils so the coating can bond.

Protect. CQ UK 3.0 is CarPro's consumer ceramic coating: 70% SiO2, applied from 3 to 40°C and rated for 18 to 24 months. There are dedicated coatings for film and plastic trim (CQUARTZ Skin), glass (GForce, built on CarPro's DQUARTZ nano-diamond technology) and leather (CQuartz Leather 2.0), plus quicker options such as HydrO2, a spray-on, rinse-off silica sealant rated for up to 6 months.

Maintain. Reset is the pH-neutral shampoo made for coated cars and dilutes 1:500. Hydro Foam washes and leaves a silica layer in one step, ECH2O is a waterless wash and quick detailer, and MFX restores the absorbency of your microfibre towels.

Where to start with CarPro

New to CarPro? Start with the products that make the biggest difference to a normal wash: Reset, Lift and a pair of Dilute bottles, which have printed ratios from 1:1 to 1:30 so every concentrate is mixed correctly. WheelX is the CarPro product our customers buy most often: a ready-to-use wheel cleaner that is safe on coated, chrome and powder-coated wheels.

Ready to protect your paint? Work in this order:

  • Wash with Lift and Reset, then remove iron fallout with IronX.
  • Polish if the paint needs it, from ClearCut for deeper marks to Reflect for a final finish.
  • Wipe each panel with Eraser and apply CQ UK 3.0 one panel at a time.
  • Keep the coating at its best with Reset and a top-up of HydrO2 or Hydro Foam every few months.

For tyres and trim, DarkSide and Perl are the favourites: Perl dilutes up to 5:1, from a rich finish on tyres to a satin look on plastics, and ReTyre cleans tyres and rubber before you dress them.
