About Hex-logic Polishing Pads

The brand new Hex-Logic polishing pads are redesigned and revamped for better polishing performance and a more comfortable experience. The Yellow Hex-Logic pad removes severe and deep swirls, scratches, oxidation, and other defects from paint finishes to restore reflection, clarity, and depth. Upon introduction, Hex-Logic Polishing Pads quickly became the go-to buffing pads for detailing professionals and hardcore enthusiasts. Machine polishing is the only process that permanently removes and repairs paint swirls, scratches, and other defects. The new Hex-Logic pads are engineered with the finest and most durable detailing foams, hook and loop interface, and V-cut channels to increase airflow and cooling characteristics. Hex-Logic engineers rounded the profile of the pad for improved flex into curves and contours and smoother polishing performance. How To Use

Using it

  1. Measure paint depth and test a lighter pad first, then step up only if needed.
  2. Centre the pad on a hook-and-loop backing plate that suits a 5.5in pad.
  3. Apply five small dots of cutting compound and mist the face with pad conditioner.
  4. Work a small test section with slow, overlapping passes and controlled pressure.
  5. Wipe off residue with a clean microfibre towel and inspect under strong light.
  6. Refine the finish with softer pads and finer polishes before protecting the paint.

Cleaning and storage

  1. Brush compound out of the pad face after every section.
  2. Wash the pad in warm water with a dedicated pad cleaner after use.
  3. Squeeze out water gently rather than wringing the foam.
