About the range
Solution Finish
From Solution Finish we stock one product in two sizes: the Black Plastic & Vinyl Trim Restorer. It is a silicone-free dressing that brings faded black plastic, vinyl and rubber back to a deep black with a matt finish, not a glossy wet look. The 30ml covers a small job or a first try; the 354ml is sized for several cars or regular use.
Where to start
- Trim Restoration: for bumpers, mirrors, seals, mud flaps and running boards that were black when new. Keep it off plastic that was grey or coloured to begin with.
- Preparation: the trim must be clean, dry and free of old dressing, so wipe it with Panel Wipe & IPA first.
- Application: a thin coat on a foam or microfibre pad from Applicator Pads, left for a minute or two, then buff off the excess. No rinsing.
