The Aquaspray® Mixed Bed De-Ionising Resin is a premium-grade ion exchange DI resin designed for producing ultra-pure, spot-free water across a wide range of professional applications. Supplied ready to use, this high-performance mixed bed resin is ideal for window cleaning, car detailing, DI filtration systems and reverse osmosis polishing stages.

Formulated using a precise blend of strong acid cation resin in H+ form and strong base Type 1 anion resin in OH- form, this resin delivers near-total removal of dissolved ions. The result is exceptionally low Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and ultra-low conductivity levels of below 0.1 μS/cm, making it suitable for demanding professional environments where water purity is critical.

How To Use

Application

  1. Shut off and disconnect the water supply to your DI vessel or cartridge.
  2. Empty the exhausted resin out of the vessel.
  3. If your vessel has a riser tube, hold it central while you pour.
  4. Pour in fresh resin to the level your vessel maker specifies, then refit the head securely.
  5. Run water through for a minute or two before the first rinse.
  6. Check the output with a TDS meter before starting work.

Aftercare

  1. Monitor output TDS regularly and change the resin as readings rise.
  2. Close the container tightly after each use.
  3. Keep stored resin out of direct sunlight.
  4. Dispose of spent resin in line with local waste rules.
  5. Keep resin away from children and pets.
