Expert Notes

A round white emblem: a globe with BLOSSOM JAPAN around the top and Japanese text around the bottom, cut for the rear window. It is cut from 3 to 5 year rated weatherproof vinyl to 29 cm x 29 cm with no background, so only the design sits on the glass or paint, and you can choose gloss white or gloss black. Fit it to a clean, dry surface on a calm day: hold it level with masking tape, press it down through the transfer tape with a felt-edged squeegee and peel the tape back slowly at a low angle. Window stickers belong on parts of the glass you do not need to see through.

Perfect For / Suitable Surfaces

  • Rear windows
  • Side windows
  • Windscreen top strip
  • Car bodywork panels
  • Vans and hatchbacks
  • Toolboxes and garage doors

Caution: Apply only to clean, dry, smooth surfaces in dry weather, and keep window stickers clear of the area you need to see through. Pressure washer jets can lift the edges.

Care

The Brand

Blossom Automotive

Blossom Automotive is a UK car culture brand run by two enthusiasts who started in 2021 by making stickers for their friends. Nights out driving, drifting and at meets turned them on to the Japanese car scene, and the name ties back to Japan and to the idea of cars, and passions, growing and changing.

Their first big show was Japfest 2022, where they had a wrecked Mk1 MX-5 repaired, modified and wrapped in a week so it could sit on the stand. Since then Blossom has grown from stickers into full collections of tees, hoodies and livery kits, alongside the pair's own project cars and a YouTube channel that follows the builds.

On The Drivers HQ you will find Blossom slap stickers, die-cut decals, XL window stickers and air fresheners. Good places to start are the Sunset Drift slap sticker, the Never Satisfied XL window banner and the Sunset Drift S13 slap sticker.

The collections

Most Blossom designs belong to a named collection, each with its own story:

Sunset Drift is inspired by the Nissan S13, warm summer evenings and the golden era of Japanese drifting. Retro Racer takes its cue from 1996 street culture and early Japanese tuning. Jackpot is built around the 300ZX and the idea that someone always has your car as their dream car.

The lighter collections are the Milkshake Collection with its strawberry and cookies and cream designs, Tokyo Sushi, the Bubblegum Collection, the Skate Collection and the MX-5 Collection, which features the Blossom Mk1 MX-5 in its black livery.

Stickers, banners and sunstrips

Blossom slap stickers are printed with eco-solvent ink on decal vinyl, so they are waterproof and long-lasting on windows, bodywork, dashboards, laptops and toolboxes. Die-cut stickers, XL rear window stickers and front window banners are cut from 3 to 5 year rated weatherproof vinyl with no background, so the glass or paint shows through around the letters. Most come in gloss white or gloss black, and some of the front window designs also in chrome silver.

The sunstrips measure 1500 x 300 mm so they can be trimmed to your windscreen: the plain and banner versions are soft polymeric vinyl for wet application, and the printed Blossom sunstrips use air-release vinyl with a protective laminate. For a clean fit, the felt edge application squeegee smooths vinyl down without scratching it.
