Full Description

A replacement trigger spray head for 28mm spray bottle necks. Screw it onto an empty glass or HDPE plastic bottle to turn it into a sprayer, or swap it in when an old trigger starts to drip, leak or stop spraying. The nozzle turns between spray and stream settings, and it locks when the bottle is not in use.

It comes with a standard length dip tube. If your bottle is shorter than the tube, trim the tube so it reaches the bottom of the bottle without bending. The head is a heavy-duty design for industrial and household cleaning products, sold singly so every bottle in the kit can have its own.

For acids, strong degreasers and solvents, use a chemical-rated trigger such as the IK HC TR 1 or IK Multi TR 1.

How To Use

Fitting

The Drivers HQ (TDHQ) is our own range: the detailing accessories, pressure washer fittings, car decals and clothing we sell under our own name. It is the kit that sits around the chemicals in a detailing routine, from applicators, tyre brushes and microfibre tools to foam lance adapters and trigger guns, plus logo decals and tees for people who like their cars clean.

The Drivers HQ is also the shop itself: a car care and detailing store in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, owned and run by Simon Hole and Andrius Karalavicius, with a walk-in store on Manners Industrial Estate and an online shop that delivers across the UK. Alongside our own range we stock specialist brands, and we are the exclusive UK reseller of Autobead.

The Drivers HQ range by job

Dressings, polish and coatings. The Tyre Dressing Applicator has a crescent-curved foam pad that follows the tyre wall and a solid foam grip, and measures 100 x 60 x 35mm. For polish, wax and glaze by hand there are the Microfibre Foam Applicator Pad and the 5in sponge pads in black and yellow. For coatings, the Microfibre Blue And Grey Coating Applicator has a low-absorbency foam core, so the product stays on the surface instead of soaking in, and the Nano Ceramic Applicator Block, at 8 x 4 x 1.8cm, is sized for small and tight areas.

Tyres and interior. Our tyre brush has stiff nylon bristles on a black handle and comes in white, black and blue. The white bristles turn brown as they lift old dressing and road film, and stay white once the tyre is clean. Microfibre Detailing Sticks reach into vents, gaps and trims, and the rubber pet hair remover blocks gather hair from seats, mats and boot carpets into a roll you can lift off.

Pressure washer fittings. The Stubby Short Trigger Gun has an M22 male inlet and a 1/4in quick-release outlet, and swaps a long factory lance for a shorter gun that is easier to handle around a car. Our lance adapters fit Karcher Pro HD and HDS guns, both the new EASY trigger gun and the older gun with an M22 outlet, along with Kranzle and Lavor, Parkside, Vax and similar machines. The stainless steel quick release male adapter is 11.6mm with a 1/4in BSP thread and will not rust.

Decanting and spraying. The Long Stem Funnel fills spray bottles and pump sprayers from bigger containers without spills, and the replacement trigger head fits 28mm bottle necks, turns between spray and stream, and locks when the bottle is not in use.

Decals and decal removal. The Drivers HQ logo decal comes in 130mm, 280mm and 500mm in 14 colours, alongside the HQ Lined Box Logo at 135 x 65mm, the Style 2 decal at 240 x 65mm and the Long Outlined Logo at 245 x 40mm. To take old decals, stickers and badges off, the Toffee Wheel fits a standard drill and lifts vinyl and adhesive residue from painted panels.

Clothing and gifts. Our tees, including Keep It Clean and Its All In The Detail, are heavy black round-neck tees in 100% cotton, 200gsm, printed in the UK, in sizes S to 3XL. The Drivers HQ gift card is a physical card in values from £30 to £1,000 that can be spent in our Ilkeston store or online, and there is a digital gift card too.

The Drivers HQ is owned and run by Simon Hole and Andrius Karalavicius. Simon leads stock, products and customer support, from product advice before you buy to help with an order afterwards. Andrius leads IT, the website and the systems that connect products, stock and orders. The team is made up of detailers, technicians and car lovers with hands-on experience across detailing, paint correction, protection and vehicle care.
