Aerosol Air Fresheners

Aerosol fresheners are pressurised cans that put a strong scent into the cabin in a few short bursts, which makes them the quick fix before a trip or after a valet. Most of the range is Designer Fragrances Blast Cans, in scents such as Blackcode, Parie and Fresh Linen.

How to choose

  • Scent: fresh (Fresh Linen), floral (Parie) or dark and woody (Blackcode).
  • A can gives an instant hit of scent that fades over the following hours. For a scent that stays, pair it with a hanging or vent freshener.
  • A car is a small space: start with one or two short bursts and add more only if you need it.

Good to know

  • Aim at the carpets and footwells, not the dashboard, screens or leather: overspray leaves an oily film on glass and screens.
  • Spray with the doors open and let the car air before you drive. The cans are highly flammable, so do not leave one on the dashboard in the sun.
  • For smoke, pet or damp smells, clean the source and use one of the Odour & Smoke Eliminators first.

How long does an aerosol car air freshener last?

An aerosol gives an instant, strong scent that fades over the following hours, so it suits a quick refresh before a trip or after a valet. For a scent that stays, pair it with a hanging or vent freshener. Spray one or two short bursts at the carpets, not the dash or glass. Our car air freshener guide compares formats.
