Dakota Products says it has manufactured its own line of Ventsations air fresheners since 1996. More recently, the company has expanded into other fragrances and odour control product lines, and its range now covers fragrance, detail, carpet and odour eliminator products. The company describes itself as a privately held business based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, lists its address on Katie Road in Tea, South Dakota, and says all of its products are shipped from its plant in South Dakota.

Dakota says its in-house capabilities include injection moulding, blister packaging, blending and mixing, shrink wrapping and high speed bagging, along with related manufacturing support functions, and that its quality control is high. It presents its patented Ventsations Mini Clips as a fragrance solution for individuals, car dealers, detail shops, car washes and car rental agencies, and its UpScents Ultra Concentrate quarts are designed so that each bottle makes five gallons of ready-to-use fragrance spray.

Odour Eliminators for Smoke and Stale Air

Dakota describes Non-Smoke as an odour eliminator that changes the molecular structure of offensive odours and neutralises them, with a special formula that seeks out tobacco smoke odours and other malodours. The fragrance fades in a few minutes, and the brand notes that the product is concentrated, so a little goes a long way.

The Odor Bomb is designed to eliminate odours caused by urine, faeces, decay, rancidity, fire, tobacco smoke, cooking and mildew. Dakota says each Odor Bomb can treat 6000 cubic feet, about the size of a typical hotel room, and lists motor homes and boats among its other uses. In a car, the brand advises a few sprays into the space rather than setting off the entire can, then closing the car for several hours and ventilating it before anyone gets back in.

Zero Smoke is an unscented personal spray designed to eliminate smoke and food odours on you. Dakota's directions are to spray the fine mist on hair and clothing, and it says the spray can also be used in the car or home. The brand also sells Zero Smoke in larger sizes, including a 32 ounce refill and a gallon refill.
