Purestar wash mitts and pads

Double Twist. The Double Twist Wash Mitt has long fibres that draw dirt away from the paint and a dense sponge core that holds plenty of shampoo for glide, with an elasticated cuff for long washes. The Double Twist Wash Pad is the pad version, developed and made in Korea.

Colour Pop pads. Thick plush blocks of Korean microfibre, 23 x 15 x 6cm, made to replace a wash sponge, in four colourways: dark green, mottled green and dark blue, dark pink, coral pink and dark blue, purple, blue, turquoise and violet, and orange, orange, pink and white.

Plush and interior mitts. The Plush Wash Mitt is ultrasoft microfibre made to avoid marring the paint. The Interior Wash Mitt mixes rough and soft fibres to loosen dirt on plastic, vinyl and leather, from dashboards to seats.

Purestar is a South Korean microfibre brand from Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, run by allclea Inc. It knits, dyes and cuts its own microfibre and makes the finished products itself, and it says its range is researched and produced by a professional detailer, for beginners as well as pros. Purestar exports directly to more than 40 countries, including the UK, the US, Germany, Japan and Australia.

Purestar towels for polish, glass and interiors

Speed Polish towels. The Orange Speed Polish Towel 7 Pack has a tight weave that gives it extra bite on wax and polish residue. The Speed Polish Light Towels 9 Pack are closed-loop, edgeless towels for removing polish and for glass and interior work.

Glass towel. The High Density Glass Towel is a tightly woven, non-abrasive knit made to be lint free and streak free. Use it wet or dry, with or without a glass cleaner, on oil, fingerprints, smudges and dust.

Looking after microfibre. Wash microfibre on its own and without fabric softener, so the fibres stay open and keep their grip on dirt and water. Keep wash mitts, buffing towels and glass towels apart so polish residue never ends up on your windows.
