The Brand

Jelly Belly

Jelly Belly is the jelly bean brand whose roots, it says, stretch all the way back to the 19th century. In the 1960s the company that would become Jelly Belly hit on a breakthrough: in its own words, it was the first to infuse jelly bean centres as well as the shell with flavour. Its beans now reach over 70 countries, and since 2023 Jelly Belly has been part of Ferrara Candy Company. The brand's flavour names also appear on car air fresheners, which Jelly Belly UK says are made under licence by Energizer.

The Drivers HQ stocks Jelly Belly hanging air fresheners, each shaped like a single jelly bean and named after a Jelly Belly flavour. Fruit scents include Blueberry, Lemon Drop, Mango, Tangerine and Island Punch, while Peach Bellini and Strawberry Daiquiri take their cue from drinks, and Bubble Gum covers the sweeter side. Several are sold as 3D air fresheners, including Bubble Gum, Lemon Drop and Tangerine.

A Jelly Belly air freshener suits drivers who want a fruity or sweet scent and a splash of colour in the cabin, and it makes an easy gift or stocking filler for someone who spends a lot of time in the car. Hang it where it will not rest against the seats or trim, as Jelly Belly UK advises avoiding direct contact with textiles and plastic parts. It is not a toy and is not suitable for children to play with. Jelly Belly UK also describes the fresheners as ideal for car, home or office.

Buy Jelly Belly air fresheners from The Drivers HQ with tracked UK-wide delivery, or visit our walk-in store in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, where Click & Collect is free. Mix a few flavours in one order to change the scent in your car through the year, or add one to a car care order as a small extra. You will find them alongside the rest of our air freshener range, so you can compare Jelly Belly with other scents and shapes before you choose.

From Jelly Bean to Air Freshener

From Jelly Bean to Air Freshener

Jelly Belly says its roots stretch all the way back to the 19th century, and that in the 1960s the company that would become Jelly Belly hit on a breakthrough: it was the first to infuse jelly bean centres as well as the shell with flavour. The first eight flavours followed, and the brand says seven of those original eight are still among its most popular today.

The company later went global, expanding beyond North America to the United Kingdom, and it began stamping its name on every jelly bean, which it calls a mark of pride and quality. Jelly Belly says it now reaches over 70 countries, and in 2023 Ferrara Candy Company acquired the brand.

The car air fresheners carry those flavour names into the cabin. Jelly Belly UK sells them in its own car air freshener range and states that they are made under licence by Energizer, so the fresheners at The Drivers HQ are licensed designs that share the flavour names rather than sweets.

Every freshener in the range takes the shape of a single jelly bean with the Jelly Belly logo on the front, and every scent is named after a flavour. Jelly Belly UK describes its Vanilla, for example, as the fragrance of Vanilla Jelly Belly in 3D car air freshener form.

The Drivers HQ range covers fruit scents such as Blueberry, Lemon Drop, Mango, Tangerine and Island Punch, cocktail inspired flavours including Peach Bellini and Strawberry Daiquiri, and the sweeter Bubble Gum.

Some designs add sparkle. Jelly Belly UK describes its Jewel versions, such as Jewel Very Cherry, as the fragrance of the flavour in sparkling 3D. Whichever flavour you choose, Jelly Belly UK says the fresheners are ideal for car, home or office.
