Secret Scents

Secret Scents is a fragrance brand that has described itself as the home of luxury aroma. Its own story says the business started as an idea between two friends, and that its founder first made cleaning products with a close friend, built up that brand and then sold the company before starting Secret Scents. The brand has said that it manufactures all of its products in house. Alongside air fresheners, its website has listed car diffusers, reed diffusers, candles, wax melts, bath bombs and bath salts.

At The Drivers HQ, the Secret Scents range is made up of spray air fresheners. Sweet shop favourites include Bubblegum, Lemon Sherbert, Parma Violets and Pear Drops, fruit scents include Cherry, Mango and Summer Fruits, and the rest of the range carries names such as Alien, Black Opium, J Choo, Kreed, One Million and Savage. Cherry, J Choo, One Million and Parma Violets come in 100ml and 500ml bottles, and Black Opium also comes in a 500ml size.

These sprays suit drivers who like to change their cabin scent to match their mood rather than live with one fragrance for weeks. In a detailing routine, fragrance is the final step: vacuum the carpets and seats, wipe down the hard surfaces and deal with the source of any smell first, then add a light mist over the mats or into the footwells. Keep the spray away from screens and the dashboard, and test it on a hidden patch of fabric first. The 500ml bottles suit anyone who uses a spray regularly.

Buy Secret Scents from The Drivers HQ with UK-wide delivery by tracked Royal Mail, or visit our walk-in store in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, where Click & Collect is free. A spray air freshener is an easy addition to an interior cleaning order, so the finishing touch arrives with the rest of your car care essentials. Whether you want a sweet shop classic or one of the other scents in the range, you can try a new fragrance each time you clean the car.

An Idea Between Two Friends

An Idea Between Two Friends

Secret Scents tells its story in a few lines. In its own words, what started off as an idea between two friends has grown into something more than just a dream. The brand says its founder first made cleaning products with a close friend and spent years building up that brand before deciding to sell the company.

Secret Scents came next, shaped by the experience and knowledge from that first venture. The brand has said that it manufactures all of its products in house, and it described the result as luxury, hand made quality. Its website called Secret Scents the home of luxury aroma and, beyond air fresheners, listed car diffusers, reed diffusers, candles, wax melts, bath bombs and bath salts.

The same scent names run through several of those formats. The brand's site has featured a Savage car diffuser, a One Million reed diffuser and an Alien candle, so several of the scents The Drivers HQ stocks as sprays have also appeared in the brand's other formats.

Sweet Shop Classics and Two Bottle Sizes

Sweet Shop Classics and Two Bottle Sizes

The spray air freshener is the part of the Secret Scents range that The Drivers HQ stocks. The brand's own site featured Kreed among its air fresheners, and in our range Kreed sits alongside Alien, Black Opium, Bubblegum, Cherry, J Choo, Lemon Sherbert, Mango, One Million, Parma Violets, Pear Drops, Savage and Summer Fruits.

The scents fall into a few easy groups. Sweet shop favourites include Bubblegum, Lemon Sherbert, Parma Violets and Pear Drops. Fruit scents include Cherry, Mango and Summer Fruits. The rest of the range carries names such as Alien, Black Opium, J Choo, Kreed, One Million and Savage, which gives you plenty of choice between sweet, fruity and other styles.

Several scents come in two sizes. Cherry, J Choo, One Million and Parma Violets are available in 100ml and 500ml bottles, and Black Opium also comes in a 500ml size, so you can try a scent in the smaller bottle and move up to the larger one once you have found a favourite.
