Full Description

The Blossom Japan Zebra slap sticker is an original Blossom Automotive design, printed on decal vinyl and sized at 20 cm x 6 cm. Its look takes in late 90s to early 2000s Japanese car culture and neotribal graphics.

Any smooth surface will do, from the rear window to a toolbox lid. Degrease the area, peel the backing, and press firmly from the centre outwards; keep pressure washer jets off the edges once it is on.

How To Use

Applying it

  1. Clean the surface with soap and water or isopropyl alcohol, then dry it fully.
  2. Apply in dry weather, not on a cold or wet surface.
  3. Peel the backing paper away from the sticker.
  4. Line the sticker up before pressing it down.
  5. Smooth it from the centre outwards to push out air bubbles.
  6. Press the edges down firmly to seal them.

Care

  1. Clean around the sticker gently by hand.
  2. Avoid abrasive pads or scrapers over the sticker.
  3. Keep pressure washer jets away from the edges.
  4. Press down any lifting edge as soon as you notice it.

The Brand

Blossom Automotive

Blossom Automotive is a UK car culture brand run by two enthusiasts who started in 2021 by making stickers for their friends. Nights out driving, drifting and at meets turned them on to the Japanese car scene, and the name ties back to Japan and to the idea of cars, and passions, growing and changing.

Their first big show was Japfest 2022, where they had a wrecked Mk1 MX-5 repaired, modified and wrapped in a week so it could sit on the stand. Since then Blossom has grown from stickers into full collections of tees, hoodies and livery kits, alongside the pair's own project cars and a YouTube channel that follows the builds.

The collections

Most Blossom designs belong to a named collection, each with its own story:

Sunset Drift is inspired by the Nissan S13, warm summer evenings and the golden era of Japanese drifting. Retro Racer takes its cue from 1996 street culture and early Japanese tuning. Jackpot is built around the 300ZX and the idea that someone always has your car as their dream car.

The lighter collections are the Milkshake Collection with its strawberry and cookies and cream designs, Tokyo Sushi, the Bubblegum Collection, the Skate Collection and the MX-5 Collection, which features the Blossom Mk1 MX-5 in its black livery.

Stickers, banners and sunstrips

Blossom slap stickers are printed with eco-solvent ink on decal vinyl, so they are waterproof and long-lasting on windows, bodywork, dashboards, laptops and toolboxes. Die-cut stickers, XL rear window stickers and front window banners are cut from 3 to 5 year rated weatherproof vinyl with no background, so the glass or paint shows through around the letters. Most come in gloss white or gloss black, and some of the front window designs also in chrome silver.

The sunstrips measure 1500 x 300 mm so they can be trimmed to your windscreen: the plain and banner versions are soft polymeric vinyl for wet application, and the printed Blossom sunstrips use air-release vinyl with a protective laminate. For a clean fit, the felt edge application squeegee smooths vinyl down without scratching it.
