Use this guide to choose your size. It lists body measurements: the size of the person wearing the garment, not the garment itself. Fit varies between brands and styles, so where a product's description gives its own measurements or fit (for example an oversized fit), follow that. If you are between sizes or not sure, ask us before you buy.

Measuring yourself

  • Chest: around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, keeping the tape level.
  • Bust: around the fullest part.
  • Waist: around your natural waistline. Bend to one side to find it.
  • Hips: with your feet together, around the fullest part.
  • Children: measure height without shoes, standing straight with feet together.

How to measure

1. Chest Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, keeping the tape level.

2. Length Measure from the highest point of the shoulder, beside the collar, straight down to the hem.

Between two sizes? Take the larger one for a relaxed fit.

Crossed Dagger Apparel, often shortened to CDA, is a clothing brand that began as a little side project between its owners, Sam Keeley and Courtney Haymes, during the first week of the COVID-19 lockdown. Sam is a tattoo artist and Courtney is a hairdresser, and the brand says all of its artwork is created by Sam with Courtney's input. Its own online shop sold T-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies and sweats, bottoms, headwear, bags and accessories, with a dedicated automotive accessories section alongside the clothing.

The Drivers HQ stocks a wide CDA range across T-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts, shorts and trousers, headwear, pins, patches and badges, keyrings, car decals and a hanging air freshener. CDA ANTI BAD VIBES CLUB TEE - BLACK - The Drivers HQ

Born From a Lockdown Side Project

Crossed Dagger Apparel started as a little side project for owners Sam Keeley and Courtney Haymes during the first week of the COVID-19 lockdown, set up to keep themselves busy and motivated. By their own account, they never planned for it to take off the way it did in such a short space of time, and they describe it as something they are both proud of achieving.

Both owners work in creative careers, Sam as a tattoo artist and Courtney as a hairdresser, and they say they love art and using those skills to reach a goal. The brand says all of its artwork is created by Sam with Courtney's thoughts and input, and it states that all artwork is designed and copyrighted by Sam Keeley Tattoo.

The name comes from Sam's own life. His mother's side of the family are named Cross, and he always signs his artwork with a dagger, which he also has tattooed on himself. Put together, the two became Crossed Dagger Apparel, and the brand says it carries the family name as a way of remembering his mum.

Original Artwork From Tees to Decals

On its own website, CDA grouped its designs into collections such as Nightdrives and Smile Now, Die Later, with Anti Bad Vibes Club among the designs featured on its home page. Alongside the clothing it sold accessories, and it gave automotive accessories a section of their own, a clear nod to the car scene alongside artwork drawn by a tattoo artist.

The Drivers HQ range reflects that mix. The Anti Bad Vibes Club design comes as a tee in black or white, a black hoodie and a crop, while the Daruma Doll Long Sleeve Top is offered in gold, grey and sky blue. The CDA Black Box Tee and the Coach Jacket Black add everyday black pieces, and the Black Joggers complete the outfit.
