Expert Notes
This Grid Icons skate deck bundle carries detailed illustrations of three Formula One cars, one per deck: the McLaren MP4/4 of Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost in 1988, the 1991 Williams FW14 of Nigel Mansell and Riccardo Patrese, and the Ferrari F2004. Each deck is crafted from premium 7-ply hard rock maple, which Grid Icons say gives the balance of strength, pop and responsiveness, and they suit both experienced riders and collectors. Hang them on skateboard wall mounts fitted 30cm apart, out of direct sunlight and away from damp, and dust them with a soft, dry cloth. The Drivers HQ stocks a wider range of Grid Icons products.
