The BMW E9 3.0 CSL Group 2 is a legendary touring car from the 1970s, known as the "Batmobile" for its wild aero. With a high-revving inline-six, lightweight body, and aggressive stance, it dominated circuits and laid the foundation for BMW’s motorsport legacy in touring car racing.

Built for Collectors, Created by an Enthusiast

Grid Icons was founded by Dan Chubb, who was raised on the sound of rally cars tearing through forests, late-night Formula 1 broadcasts and the golden era of automotive culture. Watching Colin McRae on gravel stages and Michael Schumacher in Formula 1 shaped what the brand calls a lifelong obsession with the machines, liveries and drivers that defined an era.
