The Brand

Hoonigan

Hoonigan is an American automotive lifestyle brand that Hoonigan Group says was founded in 2010 by Ken Block. It sits where motorsport, media and car culture meet, and it is best known for the Gymkhana films, alongside racing, events and a range of apparel and accessories. The name comes from Hoonigan's own definition of a hoonigan: someone who drives in an aggressive, unorthodox way, from drifting, burnouts and donuts to what it calls acts of automotive aeronautics. Hoonigan is now part of Hoonigan Group, whose brands also include Wheel Pros.

The logos. Two marks run through the range. The censor bar is a solid white bar with the bracketed Hoonigan name in black, and the bracket shield carries Est. MMXI, Industries, LA and CA around two crossed spanners.

Tees. The Bracket x Short Sleeve Tee has the shield small on the chest and large on the back, and the Covert Bracket X Camo T-Shirt gives it a camouflage print. The Censor Bar SS T-Shirt is soft 100% cotton with the bar alone on the chest. Also the Cheater Slicks TW T-Shirt, the HRD20 Cbar Tee, the Icon Kill All Tires Tee with stars and stripes lettering on the back, the Kill All Tires Fade Tee fading from white to turquoise, the Kill All Tyres Fade TP T-Shirt and the Leah Icon Tee.

Hoodies. The Bracket x Zip Hoodie carries the shield on the left chest with a full back print, the Censor Bar BW Hoodie is a pullover with a kangaroo pocket, and the CBar Kill All Tires Hoodie is 65% cotton and 35% polyester with Kill All Tires on the sleeves.

Headwear. The Censor Bar Snapback is a 6-panel cap in 80% acrylic and 20% wool with an embroidered patch and the H icon on the side, also in woodland camo. There are also the Bracket x Snapback, the Hits V2 Trucker Hat with its Tire Slayer patch and the Classic H Icon Beanie.

Hoonigan HRD20, keyrings and accessories

HRD20. Hoonigan's HRD20 pieces come from Ken Block's 2020 Hoonigan Racing Division season, inspired by the Troy Lee Designs livery on his Cossie V2: the HRD20 Censorbar Snapback, the chequered HRD20 Crew Socks and the polyester HRD20 Lanyard, with the 8 x 2in vinyl HRD20 Censor Bar Slap Sticker.

For the keys. The Flight Tag is an embroidered remove-before-flight style tag with the censor bar logo, the Crash Bar Metal Key Ring carries the CBAR logo, and the gold Handbrake Key Chain Ring is shaped like a handbrake lever. Lanyards come in Kill All Tires and Stars and Stripes.

Eyewear and more. Two sunglasses were made with Heat Wave Visual: the Lazer, on the Z87 rated Lazer Face frame with the Stars and Stripes graphic, and the Vise, with polarised lenses and Hoonigan logos along the arms. The Irons Face Mask is a 100% cotton fashion covering in the Irons pattern, not a medical or protective mask.
