The Brand

SGCB

SGCB Auto Care is a detailing tools and car care brand run by Guangzhou SGCB Co., Ltd. It was established in Taiwan in 2010 and set up its headquarters in Guangzhou, China, in 2012, and it develops, tests, produces, sells and trains on its own detailing products, aiming to offer a complete detailing system under one brand. SGCB says it has operated in over 30 countries, with subsidiaries in San Francisco, Taiwan and Hong Kong, and offers more than 400 detailing tools and over 100 care products, including around 100 tools and over 50 care solutions developed in-house.

Wheels and tyres. The Wheel Brush XL is 45cm long, with red and black bristles, a round guard and a rubber grip, made to reach the back of the barrel on most wheels. The Microfiber Wheel Brush Set 269 pairs two microfibre-headed brushes in different sizes for tight spokes and hard-to-reach places, and the Tyre Brush has stiff black nylon bristles and a rubber handle for scrubbing sidewalls clean before dressing.

Detail brushes. The Detailing Brush Set gives five sizes with long plastic handles and bristles of moderate stiffness, for badges, grilles, vents and seams inside and out, made to resist shedding.

Washing. The Wool Wash Mitt is lambswool on the washing face, with a mesh pocket on the back to hold your hand, and measures 165 x 245mm.

Microfibre. The 36 Microfibre Trade Pack holds 36 towels of 40 x 40cm in an 80/20 blend at 350gsm, nine each in green, blue, grey and orange, with reinforced stitched edges, so you can keep a colour for each job. They wash by hand or machine.

Applicators. The Wax / Polish Hand Applicators are six 105mm pads of soft, tight-cell foam for polish, wax and dressings on paint, wheels, tyres, leather, vinyl and rubber, and they are machine washable. The Pro Ceramic Coating Sponge Applicator pack holds ten 8.5 x 5.4cm blocks, firm on one side and soft on the other, for coatings, waxes, polish and tyre gel. The Hand Grip Applicator 287 puts two 80mm hook and loop sponges on an easy-grip handle.

Mini polisher. The Mini Rotary Cordless Polisher Kit 12V comes in a carry case with a battery, a charger, two backing plates and a set of small sponge pads in heavy, medium and light cut and polishing grades, including cones and cylinders for tight areas. Its charger is listed with an EU plug.

Sprayers and bottles. The Pump Sprayer Foam Spray builds pressure by hand or with an electric inflator for a thick foam, and the 34oz Mixer Bottle is a 1005ml chemical-resistant trigger bottle with a filter on the hose.

Storage. The collapsible crates, Large and Small, are moulded in reinforced PP with a thick grid base and fold flat, for a workshop or a boot.
