The Brand

The Drivers HQ

The Drivers HQ is a car care store, detailing product specialist and automotive lifestyle brand based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. What started as a passion for clean cars and proper car care products has grown into a business built around helping car people care for, protect and enjoy their cars. The Drivers HQ Ltd is a private limited company, incorporated on 12 March 2020, with its registered office at 1a Shipley Court, Manners Industrial Estate, Ilkeston. Alongside the specialist brands it stocks, the shop sells its own range of detailing accessories and car culture items under The Drivers HQ name.

The Drivers HQ range covers the practical kit that sits around the chemicals in a detailing routine. It includes the 1x Tyre Dressing Applicator and the 5" Sponge Polish Applicator Pads in black and yellow, the Nano Ceramic Applicator Block and Microfibre Blue And Grey Coating Applicator for coatings, and the Microfibre Detailing Sticks. For foam pre-washing there are snow foam lances with adapters and quick connects for pressure washers, plus the Stubby Short Trigger Gun. Pet hair remover blocks, our own tyre brushes, T-shirts and car decals complete the range.

The range suits anyone building or topping up a wash kit, from first-time buyers to regular detailers. Snow foam lances apply pre-wash before the contact wash, applicator pads spread polish, wax and coatings, and tyre brushes and dressing applicators finish the wheels. Inside, pet hair remover blocks help lift hair from fabrics and carpets. For car culture fans, there are T-shirts and car decals, such as the HQ Lined Box Logo Decal Sticker, to wear or put on your car.

Built by Enthusiasts in Ilkeston

The Drivers HQ describes itself as more than a shop. What started as a passion for clean cars and proper car care products has grown into a car care store, detailing product specialist and automotive lifestyle brand based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. The company behind it is The Drivers HQ Ltd, which Companies House lists as a private limited company incorporated on 12 March 2020.

Its team is made up of detailers, technicians and car lovers with hands-on experience across detailing, paint correction, protection and vehicle care. The aim, in the shop's own words, is to make car care easier to understand, whether you are buying your first wash kit or choosing the right ceramic-safe shampoo, with practical guidance and no hard sell.

The walk-in store is at Shipley Court on Manners Industrial Estate in Ilkeston. Customers can browse products in person, collect eligible online orders and bring in pressure washer fittings, polishing pads or clear photographs when they need help finding the correct replacement or product combination. The Drivers HQ also sits within a wider group of automotive brands covering car care products, professional detailing, training, number plates, performance parts and enthusiast events.

Detailing Kit and Car Culture

The Drivers HQ's own range focuses on the accessories that make a detailing routine easier. Applicator pads cover tyre dressing and polish or wax application, with sponge and microfibre options, and coating applicators such as the Nano Ceramic Applicator Block help with ceramic coatings.

For foam pre-washing there are snow foam lances for pressure washers, a Low Pressure Snow Foam Gun with Hose Attachment, and adapters and quick connects, including Karcher Pro HD and HDS lance adapters and a stainless steel quick release male adapter. If you are unsure which fitting suits your machine, the team in Ilkeston can help narrow down compatible connections from your existing fitting or clear photographs.

The range also reaches beyond cleaning. The Drivers HQ sells T-shirts and car decals, including the HQ Lined Box Logo Decal Sticker at 135mm x 65mm, and gift cards. Pet hair remover blocks and tyre brushes in black, white and blue round out a practical range that works alongside the specialist car care brands stocked online and in the Ilkeston store.
