Size guide

Use this guide to choose your size. It lists body measurements: the size of the person wearing the garment, not the garment itself. Fit varies between brands and styles, so where a product's description gives its own measurements or fit (for example an oversized fit), follow that. If you are between sizes or not sure, ask us before you buy.

Men's and unisex tops

T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and jackets. Most of our T-shirts and hoodies are unisex: women can use their bust measurement as the chest measurement.

The Brand

The Drivers HQ

The Drivers HQ is a car care store, detailing product specialist and automotive lifestyle brand based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. What started as a passion for clean cars and proper car care products has grown into a business built around helping car people care for, protect and enjoy their cars. The Drivers HQ Ltd is a private limited company, incorporated on 12 March 2020, with its registered office at 1a Shipley Court, Manners Industrial Estate, Ilkeston. Alongside the specialist brands it stocks, the shop sells its own range of detailing accessories and car culture items under The Drivers HQ name.

The Drivers HQ range covers the practical kit that sits around the chemicals in a detailing routine. It includes tyre dressing applicators and the 5" Sponge Polish Applicator Pads in black and yellow, 2 in 1 Detailing Interior Scrub Pads, the Blue Microfibre Wash Mitt and Edgeless Grey Microfibre 350GSM 40cm x 40cm cloths. For foam pre-washing there are snow foam lances with adapters and quick connects for pressure washers, plus the 2L Hand Pressurised Foam Sprayer. Pet hair remover blocks, tyre brushes, T-shirts and car decals complete the range.

Inside, scrub pads and pet hair remover blocks help lift dirt and hair from fabrics and carpets. For car culture fans, there are T-shirts and car decals, such as the HQ Lined Box Logo Decal Sticker, to wear or put on your car.

Its team is made up of detailers, technicians and car lovers with hands-on experience across detailing, paint correction, protection and vehicle care. The aim, in the shop's own words, is to make car care easier to understand, whether you are buying your first wash kit or choosing the right ceramic-safe shampoo, with practical guidance and no hard sell.

Detailing Kit and Car Culture

The Drivers HQ's own range focuses on the accessories that make a detailing routine easier. Applicator pads cover tyre dressing and polish or wax application, with sponge and microfibre options, and the 2 in 1 Detailing Interior Scrub Pads help with cleaning inside the car. The Blue Microfibre Wash Mitt and the Edgeless Grey Microfibre 350GSM cloths handle the wash and wipe-down stages.

For foam pre-washing there are snow foam lances for pressure washers, a Low Pressure Snow Foam Gun with Hose Attachment, and adapters and quick connects, including a Nilfisk M22 male adapter for stubby triggers. Pump foamers such as the 2L Hand Pressurised Foam Sprayer apply pre-wash or cleaning solutions by hand pump. If you are unsure which fitting suits your machine, the team in Ilkeston can help narrow down compatible connections from your existing fitting or clear photographs.

The range also reaches beyond cleaning. The Drivers HQ sells T-shirts and car decals, including the HQ Lined Box Logo Decal Sticker at 135mm x 65mm, and a Detailing & Accessories Mystery Box. Pet hair remover blocks in blue and green and tyre brushes round out a practical range that works alongside the specialist car care brands stocked online and in the Ilkeston store.
